Harsh Ethanol Ad is Targeted at the President
As Donald Trump finishes the first year of his Presidency, turmoil around the Renewable Fuel Standard continues to be problematic. Disaffected members of his base including “union workers, mom and pop gas station owners, small retailers, and independent American oil refiners” no longer believe he has their best interests at heart. Instead of draining the swamp and growing jobs in the manufacturing sectors, the President, in their words, is “caving to ethanol lobbyists and jeopardizing U.S. energy independence”.
These folks are fighting back under the banner of the Fueling American Jobs Coalition with the following ad:
